Love this for a night out. Nice mixture of acts to choose from. Plenty of seating at various prices. Kept nice and clean. Very helpful service for the disabled with lift down to the stalls. Unfortunately no lift to the upper floors. Toilets accessible for both thoses non and able bodied. Drinks and ice creams available at the interval. Love it.

We like this theatre, when visiting Oxford we hope something interesting is on; recently watched Caberet - very good. Theatre is not too big so reasonably good view far back in the stalls. Only not 5 stars for common issue in theatres legroom limited.

The theatre has good views and reasonable acoustics. It is Victorian, so is full of stairs. Toilet facilities are small, old and not fitting for a modern venue. It is an experience watching a show here, but the rest of the theatre needs some work done.

Nice shows, main musical theatre in Oxford but musicals are not the only focus. Polite staff and in central location. If you are a short person, like me, take care in seat selection.

Good sized theatre with a good sound system. Very traditional style and looks great. Not a lot of space to hang around while waiting but a nice bar downstairs. It hosts a very varied range of music, talk and arts.

For all you 70's fans, saw The Stylistics last night. Started with the supporting act Heatwave (Boogie Nights) then the main act did all their famous hits ! The 2 originals of the group may be 72, but when you have the talent you don't lose it. Fantastic show and I found out they did 8 gigs in USA, but have 40 gigs in UK, this shows where they're appreciated more ! If you get the chance go and see them.

A wonderful night out. Staff were efficient and very helpful. Of course the show or artist you watch makes the night, this is however a most splendid theater to enjoy the experience in.

It is a great joy to see traditional, smaller venues still operating and hopefully making a profit.

It is a great joy to see traditional, smaller venues still operating and hopefully making a profit. I have been to this venue several times. The New Theatre embodies all that is good about our culture and history in the arts, lovely stage and a great view from all seating plus good acoustics. I will be back again.

Beautiful theatre and the staff are so kind and helpful, I have to use a mobility scooter but when I can I prefer to transfer to a seat In the audience and for a few magical hours I immersed myself in another performance from the hilarious Russell Brand of his new show 33 🤣🤣🤣 absolute genius, laughter really is the best medicine for the soul. The theatre staff kindly brought my mobility scooter to me at the end of the show which I really appreciated. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening ❤️
