Martin & Co manchester

Absolutely rubbish letting agency. They’re unable to deliver what they promise and they have such an appalling costumer service that they will not take any responsibility nor compensate you for any mistakes they make. Really unprofessional and poorly managed staff who, after endless attempts to ring them and numerous messages left, will simply not get back to us. We had our property let by them and at the end of the tenancy agreement they authorised the release of the tenants’ deposit without chasing after the refund for the damage made to our property, nor did they check with us whether we were in agreement with it at any point. As landlords, we feel very much let down by Martin and Co and would not recommend them.

I have been renting an apartment through Martin and Co for over two years. I have found them to be an excellent estate agency. The staff are very helpful. I have dealt mostly with James, who is extremely friendly and is very helpful. Any issues that arose during my tenancy, were quickly rectified. I would highly recommend this agency.

Hugely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for James. I'm coming to the end of one tenancy through Martin & Co and will be using them to find my next property. Highly recommended.

During recent repair issues we've had in our property, we have dealt with Craig who has been really helpful in getting repairs done quickly and to a good standard. Would recommend.

We have recently rented through Martin and Co Chorlton and they have been great. Always respond in a timely manner and the staff have been extremely helpful, approachable and friendly. James was particularly helpful. Can very much recommend!

Would never ever rent a property through Martin Martin Co ever again,contacted numerous times with issues of leaking roof in a property we rented were told our landlady had gone of the radar multiple times,which turned out to be lies as there is email proof and phone records of how much contact they made with her.we were left to live in a damp property and used the excuse of covid to try cover there tracks.the negative reviews are all true,and the professionalism of them is shown in how they reply here.keep well we'll away!! Edit:not sure why Martin and Co against landlady again claiming it wouldn't make sense to ignore repair requests that were accepted.the ombudsman I Believe clearly favoured the landlady's version of events...

I have had a great experience with this company - in particular, I'd like to shout out James who was super friendly, professional, helpful & knowledgable. I'm sure many might agree that sometimes conversations with estate agents aren't the best, but James was an absolute star and totally restored my faith in the profession. If you are reading this - thanks again!

Please take a look at the photos taken for the flat they are currently marketing on Rightmove in Demesne Road, Whalley Range for £650 pcm. There are no pictures of the lounge/living area or bathroom. Instead, they've just done close up pictures of each of the windows, the number on the front door of the flat, a very small storage space holding just a single chair, a microwave, the toilet and base of the shower unit. Please do not just take my word for it and look it up yourself.

I feel cheated even giving them a star. I would take heed of any of the supposed 5 star reviews as there is no chance any of these are genuine reviews. Awful letting agents, don’t have a clue in what they’re saying and seem to chance everything and charge a premium too. Regardless of how good the property they’re offering seems I’d avoid like the plague.
