I don't want to write a bad review because I want to encourage more stores like this, however they had a few items "on sale" that they in fact didn't discount when I paid. I was in a rush and only realized after I left to the station. I suggest customers pay attention when paying.

I sent letters and an email to complain about out of date products being taped over with 'clear' tape and 'opaque' tape to sell as undamaged and out of date information!!! Now complaining - after several weeks to allow return communication - to Oxford Trading Standards. Also, noticed several very similar 'reviews' regarding this practice. Health, Safety and Welfare needs to be a the forefront when selling food, surely: it is not. Buy at your peril.

They sell almost anything I needed to cook my Malaysian food. Staff are very friendly and the boss is very knowledgeable if you need any advice on ingredients you need to cook whatever you are trying to make if he is around. I go there almost every week to do my Chinese food shopping. Apart from Chinese, you can also get Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Malaysian and Singaporean products although these days with global pandemic, it is not easy and not always you can buy what you are looking for so be prepared to be disappointed. Prices are ok for a small retail shop.
