Don't go to the post office they have in there. One of the two people working there is extremely rude with everyone (especially women), for absolutely no reason. Not acceptable. I see from other reviews that I am not the only one that has been mistreated by the staff... so, this is not a matter of a bad-day.

Staff with attitude problems and poor customer service. Went in to post a package, got told by the person on the counter that I had to wait 5 minutes for the person to come to the post office desk. I waited patiently for the person, who took longer than 5 minutes. Queried postage for a parcel, the person advised me incorrectly of the cost, only to then bump it up by an additional £10 when I got around to paying. I had requested if they had a sticky label or some tape to afix the label I had printed, they refused outright to provide any assistance. Whilst I appreciate they have no obligation to, when I'm paying £50 for something to be posted, two pieces of tape shouldn't be questioned. Refused to let me buy tape, unless I physically went to the other counter (they are right next to each other)! I really don't understand what their problem was, I am the one spending my money, wear a smile and do what I tell you to do! Pathetic excuses for human beings. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Personally I have had no problems with this place in the 9 years I've been going to it, so I cannot speak for other reviewers who have had a bad experience. Anyway, its main charm is that it's a seemingly pleasant place that has items you won't find at the neighbouring co-op.

its awful. staff are super rude, wont give refunds even with a receipt so be warned. Dont go unless you like being talked about whilst you walk around the store. It's like a cheap horror movie in there

Visited this evening to pay for a bill via their paypoint system. Staff argumentative and rude. Charged us more than was on the bill and when we questioned this, continued to be rude to us and said that we had to pay amount we were told. Shall think twice before visiting this Costcutter store again and recommend others do the same!

AVOID THE POST OFFICE AT ALL COSTS! Extremely rude staff, absolutely each one of them. Royal mail have to do something about it. I hate sending mail now because of the people that work there.

We all have no idea why this place is still a Post Office letalone a shop as the Owner is dodgy and cuts open mail in his back office as and when he wants. Staff are all cheap low salary foreign labour some of whom take advantage of giving correct change to younger people apparently. They also do not give out itemized receipts so check everything and avoid.

Friendly staff and good range for a village store (inc Tymbark Cherry juice 😋). One grumble is they are ironically quite pricey. Still: they have a fairly good range of stuff (particularly fruit, cans, fun alcohol (mixers) and Swedish meatballs. Post office is also useful and they have a more frozen food and cereals than most local stores.

It is a rather expensive store that should be named costadder instead of costcutter. However, there is a nice variety of snacks making you feel like you just stopped into a Cowley Road store.
