Howdens – Fulham london

George is an experienced kitchen designer who helped us enormously. He's very good at interpreting an idea into practical recommendations and (best of all) is incredibly patient! Would recommend and use again.

100% inept. Will never ever consider using these folk again. I have been contacting them for months to pay them, yet no one can be bothered to communicate. They distribute wrong items fequently. Delivery never happens when they say. Overall I will be going out of my way to avoid them for all of my future projects. Hopeless

Really bad experience. They didn’t measure our kitchen beforehand as they promised so pretty much all the items were wrong. Because of this they made us waste £600 on a bigger worktop. We still have a big piece of useless quartz worktop that they won’t take back. We also returned a few cabinets as they didn’t fit only to find out that we were not getting any refund because they ‘ had calculated everything’ and we actually owed them £20. It’s totally impossible to speak to anyone. AVOID THIS PLACE! EDIT: As you can see on their comment they said they would contact me. 7 months have passed and Nobody has contacted me. I’m still stuck with a massive piece of quartz that they made me pay for. They made me waste £600 and a lot of time. It’s a RIP-OFF, don’t use this company

This review is regarding Simon at Howdens, Fulham. Words cannot do justice to how brilliant Simon has been over a sustained period. He exemplified customer service at its very best and indeed beyond. He repeatedly put himself out to help us when unquestionably others would not have. He was always there at the end of the phone and engendered such confidence and trust that when he said he would sort it, not only did I know he would but he did. You are a rare find Simon and I hope Howdens know how lucky they are to have you. Thank you Anne

Used Luke at Howdens Fulham based on a recommendation from a friend. To-date I have never installed a kitchen that did not incur some kind of issue, its just a fact of life, until you get the old kitchen out, you never know what you are going to find- hence Howdens gave me an estimate based on what they could see. They also explained the reality of the above, which I prefer to know upfront. Once the old kitchen came out there were unforeseen issues, quite a few. The problem I have is when the supplier is reluctant to help once the kitchen has been ordered and delivered. To that end, Luke was fantastic, even though it was really mainly property issues, he still bent over backwards to ensure we got the support we needed to get the job done. No quibble, no excuses he just got it sorted full- stop. What more can you ask? That is the measure of a good supplier in my book. We went for the higher end range and it looks fantastic, in all £5k cheaper than the competition who were also offering an inferior product. 5 stars all day long and a preferred supplier.

5 stars for Simon Gilbert at Howdens. With 20+ years designing kitchens, Simon designed a fantastic layout for the room and was incredibly responsive and proactive at all times. I then had an unfortunate circumstance that had to delay my kitchen build and Simon took it all in his stride, helped me out from start to finish to ensure I was not stressed or worried at any point. He is an asset to the firm and I would personally recommend anyone who wants to use Howdens to ask for Simon. Thank you Simon!
