Always, always, always had great service and support here. Take all my cars there for MOT, repairs and maintenance. Will continue to enjoy working with this great little, local garage.

Been using them for years never had a problem

I would not recommend this garage. I had a problem with my brakes and the mechanic misdiagnosed the problem as a faulty calliper. They replaced the calliper at significant expense, but this did not fix the problem. I took the vehicle back and asked if I could inspect the original calliper but they were unable to show it to me and uninterested in assisting with finding the real issue with the brakes. I went to an actual brake expert who diagnosed the problem as a faulty master cylinder, and the issue is now fixed. Disappointing.

Very disappointed with this small garage who quoted me the price of my new lights the day before fitting at £12 each and after they had changed the lights and had done the work told me they were £26.91 each. When I questioned the price and reminded the chap that he quoted me £12 each the day before he said he has quoted £15- £20 which is a lie, he then said he could take them out if I wanted after I had waiting the 30 mins. He then said he has only charged £10+ the vat for fitting them. I paid the £76.58 for 2 light bulbs but I shall never use them again. I just don't like the dishonesty be careful if you think about going here

On top of screwing up the main work done, charging me over £850 after quoting £600 (and not do all work we agreed), braking things and changing me for it, not tightening the wheel bolts (less than hand tight! My tyre nearly came off), guaranteeing it will pass the MOT then refusing to fix the bits it failed on "because they would pass it" even though 2 other independent places would fail it.... now I have found out they dry fitted the brakes (not lubrication) which causes the pad to heat up quickly and causes a horrid loud squeeking noise. Absolute cowboys. They have cost me at least an addition £200 fixing their screw ups and could have caused a serious accident. Avoid at all cost.

Drop my car today regarding an oil leak. Steve check it straight away and diagnosed what’s causing the leak. After thoroughly checking it, right there and then, he fixed it straight away. What a great service and a nice gentlemen. Thank you so much.

TL;DR : didn't fix everything they said they would, charged a lot more than quoted, still failed reMOT elsewhere but they said it was fine and charged me to do the MOT there rather than fixing the fail. They also didn't tighten the wheel on (less than hand tight) which is a huge safety issue and I could have easily crashed from the wheel flying off! Went in for repairs after my car failed it's MOT (elsewhere) for them to fix all issues so it would pass the reMOT. This included the exhaust, brakes, hand brake, and tires. They did the repairs, told me it would pass and to come back and they would fix it for free if it failed. Well the repairs were >£300 more than was quoted and they didn't even replace the tyres. £100 of the addition cost was a lambda sensor, £30 for brake shoes, and the rest was additional labor "because it took longer than expected". That is a lot for labor considering it was there for 1 day. Anyway, it failed it's reMOT on an imbalance in braking/lag in response on the left (around 64% difference if I remember correctly) which they said they fixed and there was still a squeak coming from the brake. Took it back and they told me they would pass it without any other repairs and it was fine, so they won't fix it. I then had to pay them for the MOT to pass it without any further repairs. Finally, I have just found out that one of the tyres they had taken off, they didn't tighten properly! It wasn't even hand tight!!! I only found out after a lot of knocking and shaking travelling down a duel carriageway. I could easily have lost my wheel and crashed, and would have done if I travelled any further. Absolute safety risk. I managed to tighten the bolts and get home luckily but if I didn't realise what the knocking was, I could easily have sunk even more money in taking it to another garage and/or crashed. Would not recommend from my experience. They talk the talk and sound professional but everyone I have spoken too said that they were taking me for a ride.
