High quality room but disappointing breakfast. Neither Eggs Benedict nor avocado are the veggie equivalent of a cooked breakfast. Come on hotel Du Vin. Even Weatherspoons does a veggie cooked breakfast! Good luck vegans.

The disclaimer is that I have not actually booked a room at this Hotel. But rather I got lost in Cambridge at 1 am. Seeing that the hotel was still lit, I tried my luck to attempt to get directions towards my destination. Turns out the staff there are very welcoming even at such late hours and gave me directions; they even offered to give me a map. Therefore, despite not actually booking here, I have to give them a good rating for just how welcoming they are and how the members of staff go out of their way to give a good service, even for a non-customer.

Visited the Bistro on Sunday for the four course Sunday Lunch prix fixe menu. Food and drinks were of a good standard but the service was incredibly disappointing. Initial cocktail order forgotten and subsequently arrived with no apology after the soup course, no communication from the waiting staff regarding helping ourselves from the French Market Table for the second course, our finished plates from the main course were only half cleared from the table and then only fully cleared when we eventually managed to catch someone's eye to ask for the dessert menu a quarter of an hour later, and then finally on leaving we were presented with the bill for the table seated next to us by mistake. A well-presented restaurant with nice food, unfortunately let down by incredibly poor service.

I stayed at this hotel recently for one night and my package included breakfast as well. The place is quite centrally located and has access to university and other major tourist sports. It’s a beautiful luxury hotel with large rooms and bathrooms.very neat and clean and vintage styled,I loved it! The breakfast has almost everything that you could imagine from a good breakfast place in England. The staff is nice and polite. Overall a great experience and I would love to spend more time.

I have stayed there for 2 nights and it was incredible. All the staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. It was my first time visiting the city and they gave me many tips of where to visit and places to eat. The breakfast was excellent and the cellar bar was the perfect place to relax and have nice cocktails with my friends. I managed to eat dinner there in one of the nights and loved it! I cant wait to be back in Cambridge and stay there again. Lovely amenities in the room as well, super special touch! Highly recommend!!! Super value for money. 5 star!

From the moment we checked in to leaving everything about our stay was wonderful. Staff on reception were very efficient and check in swift. Breakfast very good with something for everyone. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Cambridge and surrounding areas. The toiletries in the rooms were really nice. Our stay was not cheap but worth the price tag in my opinion

We have just returned from staying here this past Friday as part of a work Christmas celebration and took the opportunity to stay over. We were upgraded into a room with a wonderful open-plan bathroom which was fantastic. The mean and the staff really were outstanding and our only regret was that we did not stay for two nights!

I stayed here at the beginning of the month after getting married in the city the same day. The staff were able to help my surprise my wife and also left a bottle of champagne in me room which was a lovely touch and unexpected. Breakfast was amazing where you ordered from the menu which was so much better than the standard buffet.
