Park was clean with free public toilets next to climbing frame area. Large open field with lines sprayed for football (no posts) Parking was cheap. £2 for 3 hours. Picnic benches scattered around with metal hot plates for your disposable BBQs. Lots of geese and duck in the small pond. Larger stretch of water with bridge over water and the adjacent train track. Kids loved the train going under. Every driver hooted the horn and waved. The open air swimming pool is in the park and looks amazing. Very clean and water was 28 degrees. First visit went very well and kids loved it. Will go again.

This park is great. It has a good size playground next to the playing field. There is a outside swimming pool within the grounds. Perfect for hot days. There is a duck pond, nature reserve and lake before you cross the Hinksey Railway sidings along the long footbridge, creatively named the ‘Devil’s Backbone’. Great for train spotting. Note, If the car park is full, it can be a good idea to park at Redbridge park and ride and use one of the many buses that take you to Hinksey Park and Oxford.

Wonderful place for a great day out with family, friends . It has lake, pond with wildlife bring, porridge oats to feed geese and ducks!, open park to kick ball about, there are children’s playground with sand and slides and best of all a splash park and separate outdoor heated swimming pool which is very nice There Transport links are perfectly perfect, good cycling routes, bus routes and a small car park with reasonable parking charges.

A little gem of a park due to it's many facilities. It's not big, but there's a nice walk around a duck pond, flanked by a bigger grassy area where people often play football, next to a playground for the kids. The facilities include bookable tennis courts, table tennis tables, an outdoor heated swimming pool, which I've loved to use in the mornings, and about 15 parking spaces with very low rates. (I've moved from Oxford now, so couldn't say whether the pool is open right now, so better check with them before travelling there.)

Great place for a visit. Drove my partner here as she is a cold water swimmer. Easy to park and even easier to pay if you have the RingGo app on your phone.
