A decent-sized and attractive green space conveniently tucked away in the peaceful backstreets of central Abingdon. Seems like a good place to walk the dog or lie on the grass and read a book on a sunny day. I plan to do both very soon!

I cleaned up part of the park. It's a nice park but there is a lot of rubbish, and there is a known drug problem, so there are CO2 canisters around. The park itself isn't bad though, it's very open to allow ease of movement, and the trees are nice to stay under.

Beautiful, historic park particularly nice in spring with blossom. Nothing to entertain children really so bring things to keep them happy. There used to be tennis and bowls, unsure if they're still there.

Albert Park is great for a quieter spot in comparison with Abingdon's Abbey Meadows. It is still very close to the town centre and to bus stops and has lots of shady spots as well as wide open park space. It's clean and tidy and dog friendly but should be noted there are no toilets.
