Always friendly and helpful staff on hand to assist with a any queries. They advised what fixings I needed which you can by individually (not by the bag/box in B&Q etc) and were able to cut down the timber I bought to fit on the car. Fences are made on site and are better quality than other places.

Always happy to help and give advise where needed. Wood cut to size we needed so we didn't have to carry the long lengths home. Good range of timber for different projects and the fixings needed too.

Awful installation, though quality materials. Could recommend buying materials from Heritage, but get a local builder to install. Cost of remedial action offset any saving from using Heritages labourers.

I'd had several quotes for silly money to install a 12 foot driveway gate for me when Heritage were recommended to me by someone 'in the trade'. I visited the office to talk about what I wanted and I was given figures there and then, subject to a detailed site visit. I received an acceptable quote, it was actually a bit higher than another local firm I'd contacted at the same time, but the difference was that Heritage were willing to adapt a solid gate to meet my requirements but the other company would not. Once I'd agreed to go ahead the posts were installed very quickly. Again, I had my own ideas about the height I wanted (to match a low front wall), Dan and Fred adapted the posts willingly - even though it was extra work for them! The concrete for the posts was allowed to 'cure' over Christmas and I was slotted in for the gates to be fitted as the first job in the new year. They are now up and I am delighted with the end result, I have exactly the gates I had envisioned at the start of the project and at a very reasonable price. I would thoroughly recommend speaking to Heritage, particularly if you want something adapted to suit your needs rather than 'off the shelf'.

Our landlord hired them to remove an install a new fence gate after it came down in the wind. The workmen were 3 hours late with no communication. Took 2 hours to install the fence in this state. Old rusty nails were left from the old gate. Gate was installed at an angle and won't close enough to be bolted shut. Gate was not sanded down in anyway Post was concreted at an angle Brace was broken at the bottom when they left. To top it all off they stole apples from our apple tree, they could have asked but no just stole them. Oh and they felt the need to nail a plaque to the fence advertising themselves... How they have decent reviews is rather suspicious.

We asked Heritage to build us a custom summer house/shed/porch area. Costing a large amount of money we expected it to be top quality. See photo. However, from day 1 the roof and bi-fold doors on the summer house part leaked. The shed and porch part were fine. Heritage had 4 attempts at making this building water tight over almost 2 years. The bi-fold doors were replaced, but still leaked. We had to have some custom windows and doors fitted that look ok, but not what we wanted at all. Part of the flooring also was replaced. The roof was finally made water tight when the carpenter on site and ourselves came up with a plan to fix that was against what the management of Heritage were offering as a fix. Overall, the guys that were on site and doing the work seemed good, but the management communication was below what should be expected. This was summed up when we were told (after complaining that the building was still leaking well after a year), "No we're not replacing the doors again." and "What do you expect it is a shed." While repairs were eventually made, we were given no compensation for almost 2 years of waiting or having to down grade from the bi-fold doors we wanted. I would certainly do your research before buying and maybe have some agreement to pay 50% up front and 50% when complete and you are happy. We paid the full amount up front and that left us feeling we weren't treated as a priority or as a valued customer.

Superb customer service, top quality fence panels, gravel boards, gates & posts with installation all at a very competitive price. Top, top quality, professional job completed from first quotation through to final installation. The effort, care and attention by the installation team to the job has resulted in a great finish. My neighbours also noticed & commented on the high degree of professionalism & amount of hard work exerted during several very warm days. I highly recommend Heritage to anyone looking for similar work.
