2/ 5

I checked the National rail enquiries website the day before travelling. My new car has broken down so I'm back to getting public transport to Chester again. The station doesn't open until after 0735 on a Sunday and the first train to Chester isn't till 0820. There's no coffee shops or anything nearby to grab something while i mull over being over an hour late.

4/ 5

A relatively large station serving as interchange between the North and South Wirral lines into Liverpool city centre. Clean and easy to navigate, with helpful staff. The station is built on a curve so there is a larger than usual gap between the train and the platform in places.
