Halfords Autocentre Bath bath

Grabbed a bargain £10 MOT following a Halfords promotion. Booking by phone was easy and when I had to rearrange this was handled without fuss. My car failed on wear and tear items however Halfords staff informed me that they could not source one of those items meaning I now need to visit a main dealer to purchase it. This has now become a proper faff as I cannot now return to Halfords for the MOT re-test as they will only fit parts they supply themselves.. My car isn't old or rare so this is really disappointing and actually loses Halfords my custom as I would have sourced the part and taken it back there for the labour to fit it plus the re-test fee. Sadly my experience has put me off using Halfords again and I will not be returning.

Booked at short notice. Easy booking experience. Really friendly Asst Manager who took the time to give me some advice on body repair work needed. A very smooth experience with sone advisory notes on some things that need to be replaced at some point but no pushing to get the work done.

Very helpful, gave some great advice. Highly recommend them. Not knowing a lot about vehicles and engines. Felt at ease. Job well done.

Had an MOT cancelled with little warning a few months ago. No explanation etc. Fair enough maybe, given the pandemic. Against my better judgement, booked online for new tyres. Called up the day before to check they were expecting me. Arrived on the day & they know nothing about it. Money taken from my bank account, of course. Staff in the centre pleasant enough, seems like they're being let down by wholly inadequate central services. Rubbish company, will never try again. Feel treated with total contempt.

Great service from Halfords at the weekend - MOT done quickly and efficiently. Friendly and helpful.Would recommend.
