Homebase – Bath bath

Not surprisingly this shop will soon close. I went this week to buy a rake. When I got to the till the guy had to send someone off to get a code as it was unlabelled. I was left to stand around waiting without even a hint of an apology. Meanwhile the rake is a joke. It doesn't collect the leaves properly and the handle has snapped..

Good value for money, but they could have more staff available in busy periods.

The manager (Tom) has been so generous to our NCS community project, giving us spare plants and allowing us to do our cake sale there. Thank you so much!!

Terrible experience! I was asking 3 members of staff to help me find a specific product as I know nothing about the architecture. None of them helped me propely they have just pointed with their finger a spot where ‘I could find what I want’. No questions, no details given, no interest in the customers’ concern. But that’s not all! Moreover, when after 20 minutes of looking for the product BY MYSELF, I was told at the cash point that I cannot buy the item, as they cannot approve my ID. I was shook in the first place that I even had to show it, as the product itself, for me, didn’t seem to require it, but I have shown them my Polish ID that I had with me, that is a valid document of my personality and clearly states my date of birth, they told me that it has to be the UK document and I have to be a citizen. Can you believe that? The document that can be used internationally is not accepted by the stupid shop. Absolutely insane! Wouldn’t recommend it at all, terrible customer service, no appropriate knowledge about the products and attitude towards other people! Clear discrimination.

8 tills one person serving?!?! While others dawdle around seemingly doing nothing. Pretty standard store except a level below the rest seeing as they have no toilet! Never been in a home store with no toilet.

Always have what I need. Staff knowledgeable in their areas with great advice

Staff were very helpful and pleasant today, especially a young man who helped me with a bag of wood chips. And the check out lady. Very sorry to see this Homebase store closing down.

Only a matter of days left, most stock now gone. Shame as it was handy.

This was my favorite one stop home solutions in bath. But sadly they are shutting down and every thing must go by this August 16 2020 completely. Now they do have clearance offer 20% - 70%

Great place with wonderful staff who manage to remain cheerful despite impending closure and covid restrictions. Some fantastic bargains especially on lighting at half price, mowers, plumbing, taps and garden furniture. Will be back there tomorrow
