The level of service has declined now to a point I'm finding an alternative practice to attend. I'll start by noting that they do not reply to reviews on here, surprising but shows that they're not bothered about peoples opinions overall. My experiences are that they will ask you to come back within two weeks, but reception will book you in outside of the two week window. If you query this you'll get the usual script that you can get a walk in... Of course if you work then this is useless because you can't go taking days off last minute on the off chance you can get an appointment that day. My most recent experience is trying to get my partner registered within the practice. She is moving to Liverpool and doesn't have paperwork with my address on yet, and at her previous address she was only able to change her bank with a tenancy agreement... Something she won't have living with me... Meanwhile she had medical conditions meaning she needs to see a doctor imminently. Speaking to reception I got the same rude unhelpful attitude as many on here. When asking for the practice manager i was told she's unavailable and will be going on holiday tomorrow for two weeks. When asking for her second in command I was told that he said she'd have to deal with it and he didn't even bother coming to the phone. So basically they're either not bothered (gets my vote), or incompetent and everything stops when one person goes on holiday. Long and short, if you value your health and want an appointment in reasonable time / good service... Don't bother with green lane. Update: Having read the NHS guidance on registering a patient with limited ID it's interesting to note they're in breach of this, and didn't take details of to log the refusal of registration. Hence they cannot supply the details to the NHS as legally required.

I called in today, 20/12/18, to collect a repeat prescription and noticed that one item was missing; the receptionist said I needed to make an appointment with the GP to review this medication. The first available appointment was in three weeks time-11/01/19-by which time my medication would have run out. I had requested a repeat prescription with two weeks notice of my medication running out, and had I been informed that I would have needed a review of this medication when it was prescribed I would have acted on this information earlier. As someone who works I am unable to phone at 0800 for an on-the-day appointment, so, in this instance when I have acted responsibly and am at no fault, to have to wait three weeks for an appointment... part of which without medication.... is shameful on the part of Green Lane Medical Centre.

All doctors surgeries are now oversubscribed - if you follow the advice and turn-up at 8am to make an appointment or call promptly at 8am you will definitely get seen. I have a baby and have been seen regardless of time making appointment for the baby. All the doctors and nurses I have seen have been very kind, considerate and professional.

Young female receptionist always seems to be unhelpful. I needed to print my medical records for a specific reason, she said they dont do that. When i spoke to a doctor, it wasnt a problem at all. On another occasion I needed them to print a doctors letter directed to a bank, she said they cant do that, again, when i spoke to a doctor next morning, there was no problem getting that.
