Fitness 2000 – sunderland

Very disappointing gym. Membership is cheap and you get what you pay for. Too crowded and awkward during peak times. The stretching area is not spacious that 6 people will fill the space and you have to be careful not to hit each other in the process. The manager/owner seemed more concerned with taking my money than providing good customer service. His staff, though well meaning, seem inexperienced and not very motivating to gym users. There isn't a nice comfortable gym culture here. I would not recommend this gym. I will be cancelling next month.

The best gym around don't waste your time anywhere else, helpful & knowledgeable staff, friendly atmosphere amongst gym goers.

Broken Equipment & Unhelpful Staff I was lured in with membership being £20.00 until a monthly Direct Debit was taken from my account for £80.00. When I questioned why £80.00 was taken per month instead of £20.00, I was told that membership was £20.00 per week! Which gym charges weekly? Majority of equipment is broken, staff are very rude and unhelpful. Not a good environment to relax and unwind.

Terrible gym! The changing rooms are smelly and dirty - they dont clean their lockers either. Smells like a butchers shop! Dont go here.

Brilliant gym! Loads of equipment and different areas to exercise in. Staff are really friendly, feels more like a family than a gym! Very laid back and noone is bothered what your shape size or ability is! Really reasonable membership price too! Would defo recommend it.

I don’t know why this gym hasn’t got more good reviews! It has all the weighted equipment and machines a typical gym-goer needs. There are good boxing facilities such as a ring, multiple heavy bags and lots of mirrors to shadow box in. The MMA area is fantastic; the floor is very padded, meaning you can train whichever martial you’d like! There are even mirrors in front of the heavy bags to analyse your technique. Everyone minds their business in the gym; therefore, you can train with 100% confidence all of the time. To finish off the review, all of the staff are friendly. There have been many times I have seen the staff give people advice or helped motivate gym-goers if they needed it. I am also confident that if you went into any gym area in fitness 2000 and were unsure how to do something, someone would be more than happy to help if you asked. The gym atmosphere is overall perfect.

Had the most horrible experience at this club. It's harder to get out of their gym membership than it is to get a divorce! I would not recommend at all!!! Everyone who works there are very deceiving and not trustworthy, they will ask for your card details and just take your money monthly. This place needs to be shut down.

Brilliant gym, most friendliest gym I have ever trained at. Staff make you feel comfortable and always at hand if you need any help. Great range of equipment, there is something here for everyone. Clearly there has been someone behind those fake accounts below and trolling the page, giving bad reviews. I’ve never heard a bad word about this place. 5*****
