Finally managed to sit down for a meal here after various past attempts to find a table. The place is always buzzing with a lively crowd, excellent atmosphere and staff. Ordered the closed crayfish sandwich and the closed pulled pork one. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and agreed with what I had been told about trying it for myself. I would recommend this place to everyone, a sandwich and tea for under £10 that you will enjoy and is fulfilling. Loads of paintings and art around for the eyes to also enjoy.

4/ 5

Lovely food and nice atmosphere, could do with some vegan options, although chef was very accommodating and offered to make up anything from ingredients offered on the menu. Nice range of crafts to view also. It can't be helped but be warned floor is a little uneven so be careful if you have mobility problems, the age of the building adds to the feeling of being very special.

Former Mill now housing a wide variety of crafts and cafe on the ground floor together with a series of craft artists in small workshops with displays upstairs. The floor upstairs is very uneven as much of the original character of the building has been maintained. Lovely atmosphere.

Excellent gallery with a varied showcase of artists. A good mix of affordable and more "occasional purchase"/expensive art work, and worth going for a look even if not buying. Last Saturday I lunched with my sister, and we each had a tart placed on a very small salad, at a cost of £15 per head. We followed with cake, each trying something different, which looked great,

4/ 5

An independent gallery selling a wide range of work from a wide range of artists (paintings, ceramics, pottery, jewellery, wire work etc). The cafe looks pretty decent too. The overall feel is of an authentic love of art. There's an exhibition space, too, which is small but fine. Overall, the whole place is good, although not as big as it appears from the pictures on the website. Worth a visit - it won't take half a day.

Not much choice of food and rather pricey. Staff are friendly and helpful though. Interesting selection of craft goods inside, quite a few of which would be easy to do yourself at home. Everything was rather expensive so I do wonder if much gets sold.

A pleasant cafe, both indoors and outdoors. Very good coffee, though rather unusual that the only option is whole milk (blue top), from Waitrose. Welcoming staff. A large shop of local pottery etc & gifts, together with workshops for crafts, good for browsing.
