Just called Elgar’s whilst on a visit to Melbourne to order a new cylinder to be delivered to my home in Newcastle. No customer number but no problem. Thanks Elgar’s for making it easy

Ordered gas on a Monday, delivery for Wednesday. Don't call us to let us know they can't deliver. After we tried calling they tell us drivers don't communicate with office and cannot guarantee delivery for any day. The office then said that it would be delivered Friday. Still no delivery on Friday and it takes us calling them again Monday only to be told that the next delivery is the following Wednesday. No communication, left us without gas and therefore no hot water and no stovetop cooking for over a week. Their internal communication needs to be improved and communication to customers needs to be improved.

Over Promise, Under Deliver... Ordered urgent gas ordered on a Monday for delivery on Wednesday, called on Wednesday to be told delivery will now be Friday. Called on Friday to confirm a time and was advised delivery will now be the following Monday. All the time ensuring someone was home each day to unlock gates. Called on Monday to check delivery time (hopeful this time as I saw the delivery truck in my suburb), bit NOTHING. Called on Tuesday, promises made AGAIN... Called Speed-E-Gas the same Tuesday and it was delivered on Wednesday (as promised) and cheaper than Elgas have been charging! Poor Form Elgas, get it together!

The most appalling Gas service I have ever dealt with. Customer Service is dreadful, rude and have literally told me they cannot be blamed for not being able to tell the truth?! Pathetic, thank goodness for Orgin who is heaps cheaper, customer service is amazing and delivery is spot on every time..

Worst delivery service. Have had 3 deliveries stuffed up and not delivered on the date specified. On every occasion have had to be home to let them in and no notification that they wouldnt be attending. Then had to take time away from work again when they try and reschedule.

Joined up online 9/6. Phoned up and PAID for a 45kg to be delivered on 11/6. Had someone stay home from work and they didnt show. Called and Ballina answered the phone, I'm in Newcastle, she said we are the only ones answering the phone. She said we would get the delivery 12/6 (Saturday) when the 1st person said they only do Mon, Wed and Friday? I went away for the weekend and my wife stayed home all weekend waiting but no gas. She called and they said they would get it to us Monday 14/6. NO gas. My wife talks to another person who is the first to apologise and can't promise when we will get our gas. I call today and get a nice man at Ballina again. I say I would like to get a refund and try another gas company. He asked for one more shot to fix the problem. Meanwhile we cook on a 1 burner butane camp burner.

Terrible drivers on the highway. Poor decision making skills, dangerous drivers and all round rude blokes in the driver's seat (promoting the business poorly)
