I have found the service brilliant. From the hard pressed reception staff to the wonderful doctors and nurses and nursing practitioners. Understand the demands they have to meet each day and be a patient patient. I am, and as a result I’m happy.

Went for a medical check first thing. The doctor was on time and very helpful. I have been at the practice, in one way or another, for many years and he was able to swiftly look over my medical history via computer. What really impressed me was that he somehow managed to dig out my paperwork out from the 70s in a matter of minutes. So props to the archive department. He was extremely professional during the examination and carefully completed the required paperwork to forward to an organisation. A couple of hours later, when I was in work, they phoned me to tell me the paperwork was being dispatched. Well done to everybody involved, your service was excellent.

Its a very good health centre with friendly staff and lots of facilities. I booked my appointment and got seen by the doctor straight away. There seems to be a lot of doctors working here which is great for the area. Yes i had to wait a while and ring back later, but this is an issue in most GP practises. This shouldnt detract from the excellent staff and facilities here.

I find the reception staff have always been helpful and I have never had an issue getting an appointment. If there are no appointments available at the practice, I am always able to get a telephone appointment. The reason for two stars is down to one doctor. Dr O'Hagan is forgetful, rude, unfriendly and has fobbed me off on two occasions with issues that would have aided recovery.

I feel very sorry for anyone who seriously needs to see their GP. Ive been trying to make an appointment for 2 weeks. Every time I get through it's 'call back at 2' or 'call another day'. Today I called them at 2:15pm. It took 14 attempts for the call to actually go through and then I was sat on hold for 44 minutes before being cut off!! This is appalling.

So difficult to make an appointment to see the GP Additional notes after response from the health centre: I appreciate you for the response. I wish I could give a better feedback. Please let me say more about my experience. People are required to contact the health centre in the early morning, and no appointment is given otherwise. I have had a skin issue for more than a year. I have postponed my visit to the GP because of the difficulties in the processes after the pandemic. Anyway, I called the health centre in an early morning and I was given an appointment for a call from the GP at 9 AM, for three days later. On the day of the appointment, I did not receive any call until 9:30 when one of the staff called me to make sure that I was available for the call. I was surprised that he said that the call from the GP was meant to be between 9 to 11. Although I had to go to work, I stayed at home until I received a call from the GP. It was not a video call, so he couldn't see my skin. So he asked me to take a picture and email it to the health centre. You see how a referral to the GP for a simple issue is complicated.

My 83 year old mum has been poorly for a couple of weeks. The service she received by this practice has been excellent on 2 seperate occasions The receptionist I spoke to yesterday morning was so helpful and caring I'm sorry I didnt take her name but she was lovely, polite, caring and understanding I work as a manager in a GP practice and fully understand the pressure that all the staff are under so I believe we should give praise to those who deserve it Well done Edge Hill Health Centre so being so helpful and caring. My mum was really worried she wouldn't be able to see a GP. She was seen face to face, examined by a GP and treated
