Lovely nurses and doctors, I'm going to say I had a short wait (for an emergency department) I walked out approximately 3 hours after walking in. My optician thought antibiotics would be necessary and apparently they can't prescribe them, so she said to come straight to the walk in at the Royal. The triage, nurse and doctor were all lovely, kind, and thorough. I can confirm that months after the comment about the receptionist, she is still very much in her own little world, and we mere mortal patients are in her way.

3/ 5

Arrived today with my Son who has a severe ongoing eye infection . We were originally told by St Pauls if it starts to affect his vision to come back asap ( hence todays visit ). My review is more about the receptionist in the emergency care unit . This lady could do with some customer service training as she had the most couldnt be bothered attitude I have ever encountered from somebody in a customer facing role . Huffing and puffing , rolling her eyes as if it was a chore ! I am not normally the type to complain but her attitude wasnt what i would expect from somebody on the reception of an emergency care unit.
