Superb and helpful staff. Yes sometimes you have to be patient when calling for an appointment, but it's reasonable and once through the staff are most helpful. (Would be nice if you could call a different number for prescriptions and non appointment issues so you could get through quicker.) I have only had one doctor here that I would out of choice not chose again but my wife and I have now found one Doctor each who are superb. They will generally call you back on non urgent maters so visits to the surgery can be only done when really necessary. Light and airey premises and a chemist on site. We have been registered here for 4+ years and are happy with the service. The service we get here in Bristol is so much better than we used to get in a village in Wiltshire.

Because I can't afford to be put on hold for thirty mins plus I went round in person to try and book an appointment only to be told to come back at eight in the morning to try my luck. It's for a dodgy looking mole but if it was something urgent or painful . . .

So I'll be clear and forthright here - the GP's and receptionists are amazing, they do a brilliant job and are some of the best, friendliest and kind GP's I have seen, however, the service lacks appointment slots and runs on a week release schedule, doesn't update the appointments on NHS apps designed for booking them and lacks out of typical work hours time slots. This practice could benefit from three things, 1. an auto-response when connecting to the appointments line telling you that there are no appointments available to save patients waiting +30mins on hold and clogging up the line, 2. additional weekend services and 3. Moving to a two week appointment release for patients who have been with the practice for X months/years or have a good cancellation record. A final note, make a dedicated line for cancellations. I once had to urgently cancel the morning of my appointment and could not get through repeatedly (30min+ holds a few times throughout the morning), as a result a slot was left empty when it could have been offered to someone else calling up. So again, fantastic staff and facilities but poor management decisions as far as patient/user experience is concerned which is the reason for most if not all of the negative reviews on here and NHS reviews

Sadly I have to give at least one star. They've tried to charge me £50 for access to my own medical information. Every time I call, I'm advised that if I want an actual face to face appointment with a practicioner then I should pay for private healthcare. I can't tell if their services are shocking, or if this is just what's left of our NHS has been reduced to.

Awful appointment service. It's simply doesn't work. I've been at this health service for the last 35 years this was never an issue when Dr parrot was in charge. Vicki needs to sort this appalling system out as its simply impossible to get through and make an appointment.
