Lovely and cosy, always a nice place to go. Great selection of drinks, good food and the staff are always really nice. Very popular with students too. The nachos use to be better, though...

There's no better prices for cocktails in city center of York than Dusk. Good quality of cocktails, great prices, great atmosphere for students, 2 floors, outdoor place for smoking. Only small minus is small range of beers. 5 star for prices, quality and serving time.

Great staff and 2 for 1 cocktails on a Saturday afternoon.

Menu is AWFUL. odd names with inside jokes and if you don't understand them then good luck ordering anything, would be far better if they listed cocktails and contents clearly. Fun during the day when it's quiet. But I've seen the staff be really quite rude or pretentious to others before, although they've always been good to me.. Overall an okay place to end your night on but better to start it there instead..

Visited early on Saturday evening with a group of 6. Looked at the menu and we all decided to have burgers. Went to place the order at the bar only to be told there were no burgers left. Revisited menu and selected 4 of the sharing dishes for the group. Server came back to tell us only 2 such dishes left. We finished our drinks (On which we got a discount due to our experience - so this was a good point) and left.

Literally one of the few good bars in York, if not the best. Great atmosphere
