Fantastic service. Cakes are amazing.

Lovely little cafe with really friendly staff. Great service with a good selection of drinks, food and cakes. Nice calm atmosphere and dog friendly (should you have one with you)! The only little negative we found was when serving children hot drinks (our daughter is 9 and loves a cup of tea) they could provide a slightly bigger milk jug so drinks can be made cooler. Other than that we really enjoyed our experience there, thank you.

Such a lovely café, great food and the best coffee in York, in my opinion and as a café owner and fellow barista l'm pretty hard to please

I come here at least once a week, great staff who always serve with a smile. The food has always been on point and it's cheap too for students! Highly recommend coming !

Visited Sunday after a hectic weekend. An oasis of calm & beautifully presented lunch of roast beef bap so tender it melted in the mouth with sweet potatoes chips & crisps.Too many cakes so diet denied! Do visit. I will again. Ann

I love this shop for the yummy cake. It has lovely sitting in the back garden. The drinks are well made. The cakes are why I come here often. The service is fast and friendly. They have wide selection of cakes that are displayed on the street window, so you can be easily lured in 😂😍. I recommend this place for a cozy, nice meeting with friends and family.

We went to Osborne’s for a breakfast takeaway, as we were leaving York after having a fabulous weekend. The lady in charge was very rude and made us feel like she didn’t want our custom! One of our sandwiches didn’t arrive, we brought this to the attention of the lady in charge and she made us feel like it was our fault! We had no apology.for the missing sandwich! Next time we visit the beautiful city of York, we definitely won’t be visiting Osborne’s as the welcome was extremely frosty……..the positive signage wasn’t reflected by the lady in charge!

Been here a few times over the years and the food is always good, as is the service. Cakes taste as good as they look. Great range of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.

Excellent cake options at Osborne's 68 on Gillygate for our mid afternoon tea stop while pottering around the city yesterday. Only realised afterward that we had eneded up choosing vegan and gluten-free options which is testament to some damn good baking. Luckily it was still just about warm enough to sit outside in their pretty outdoor courtyard that was an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
