Virtually impossible to make appointments. Phone line is always busy and asks you to call later. You request an appointment online and they say they have contacted you (ignoring your availability) and then they ask you to submit the request again. When ill on the day, we have never been seen by anyone at Fulford. Always sent somewhere else.

Can't understand why they are asking me to go fulford for my flu jab when im less than 10 mins from park view ,and a old lady,who's in walking distance of the fulford surgery has been asked to go to park view.

I live in Fulford within walking distance of the surgery. I 've been offered an appointment for my flu jab at Park View. I don't drive, reluctant to get in a taxi( covid 19) not on a bus route. I am in my 70s and am expected to walk over a mile in whatever weather on that day carrying a camping chair ! Not impressed.

This is by far the most disorganised, poorly run GP practice I have ever experienced, lacking both any degree of logic to their working methods nor compassion in their communication and support. Besides one warm and helpful GP I have spoken with twice of late, I have received nothing but rude, patronising and neglectful service from most reception staff and in particular other GP’s. They adopt a different system every few months and the newest one is frankly ludicrous. Submit a request online and wait for a call any time in the next few days from a GP. Fortunately, my current situation meant I was able to answer a call at any time. I feel sorry for anyone who cannot drop everything at a moments notice. I am now told this is also how an emergency is dealt with. Submit a request online, wait and see what happens. When I asked, “really also in an emergency?” I was told “that’s the new system” In a dismissive tone, in typical priory style. Who on earth in your establishment has deemed it is acceptable to deal with an emergency via an online portal? That is utter madness, you are an NHS service not Uber eats. I understand these are tough times and I am forever grateful for the NHS, but that should not make them exempt from criticism. In particular, when one organisation clearly has issues at a systemic level. I feel conflicted to leave a review like this, but I only hope somebody who is making decisions that impact their patients and put their staff under pressure may consider some much needed changes.

Surprised to see the negative reviews on here. Fair enough if that's what you have experienced, and I'm pretty new to the place, but I have to say they have been very helpful so far, couldn't fault them in fact. They obviously aren't missing the target all the time!
