Small site, well out of the way. We were able to pitch up a campervan with electric hook-up next to friends in a tent. Clean and tidy toilet area. Handy location for visiting central peak district.

A well organised, clean and peaceful sight in a picturesque location. Great routes for biking and walking and pubs and shops not too far away. New shower and toilet blocks that are kept immaculate by the owners and a little hut for washing up and recycling on site We stayed at the back of the site and had a little undercover shelter space also with electric hook up. Great for bbq and to spread out in the evening. Would highly recommend Only thing to note is you really do have to keep quiet from 10.00pm We were up late one night chatting away and laughing... and were told to keep the noise down. Not a negative at all ... but if you have a large group or family just one to be aware of. Beautiful area.

Stayed here in the Railway carriage which was cosy, warm and fab for a birthday weekend. Tam was a fab host and was attentive yet allowed privacy, would definitely return.

Cramped pitches, without the recommended 6m fire clearance, we had booked a canopy but not an awning as awnings cost an extra £5 per night. Did have a small 2man tent that no other site has ever questioned. Lack of facilities for number of pitches. Expensive compared to some other Peak District sites. Beautiful location.

Small, quiet site, very clean toilets and showers, owners very pleasant. About a mile walk to the nearest pub ( which was closed mid-week due to Coronavirus at the time I was there). Will definitely be going back.
