The manager was rude and defensive with me, I am sure he is a nice person but I was about to buy a pair and I changed my mind because of his state, I was trying to be kind and explain but I didn't have any chance to. The other guys were very nice instead

I shop at Deichmann a lot and am normally satisfied with the customer service. However, today my experience was not great. As a retail manager myself I am well aware of how hard it is sometimes to train new members of staff but I would have thought the minimum a sales assistant should know is the Christmas refund policy and how to put a box in a carrier bag!!

EU DEICHMANN 's seems more attentive than the UK. Looks like many choices around but recently old models and miss sizes. Staff not attentive at least you ask for help. Do get the understaffed issues but little more effort won't kill. Overall would be nice to see an improvement, as it looks like a discount shoe shop. Gluck.

Next time you put 50% on all shoes, make sure the 50% is actually on all shoes not just some. Ridiculous, wasted my time looking and waiting in queue just to find out that only certain shoes are on offer.
