The tennis team, the n1 football academy and club staff are all fantastic in helping me and my family enjoy every visit. I became a member of David Lloyd 3 months ago along with my family, it has been a fantastic experience so far with all of us enjoying the club. This is a family friendly club suitable to everyone. I can’t recommend highly enough and would encourage everyone to visit/join given the opportunity.

I love the gym and its facilities, BUT- and here is the big but: This is a bit of a boys' club with a quite slimy football coach, Michael Meeker and his gang of lads constantly 'perving' at the female members and the manager Jack Philips a part of this boys' club, not entirely discouraging it because they are his mates. It all left a rather bitter taste and soured my experiences at the lovely gym. Shame that at this day and age that this type of behavior still goes on. Change the sexist manager and this could be a wonderful gym.

After reading a few negative comments I was worried about joining. After looking around I took the plunge and joined. I absolutely love it. The staff are really helpful and polite. There are endless classes to do and the gym great. I haven’t tried the food yet, but looks amazing. For me it’s the use of the business area and quiet room where I can take my laptop and work in peace - love it. Would defiantly recommend as it’s not just a gym

Rubbish customer care and a rip off price. Wish they wouldn’t tell us how much money they spend every time on refurbs because it’s about 10 times the amount I would have guessed every time.

Played indoor tennis today and had some lunch in the cafe afterwards. Tennis courts were in good condition and the lighting was helped by the sunlight streaming through the skylights. Large changing rooms with plenty of room. Service in the cafe was very good and my bacon roll was excellent. This particular David Lloyd is always very busy and it was difficult to find a parking space in the car park.

This is the second time that I have joined and this time I only have an off peak membership. I enjoy swimming and sauna and the steam room. But if you require steam to be in there steam room, then I advise you to go to a different David Lloyd club. As I ask if there could be some steam in the room I was basically given the run around by reception and when I spoke to management about my complaint,as I told that when the manager gets in at 6am that there is steam in the steam room. Which doesn't help me as my off peak membership is between 11am to 4pm. So as I was told by other members just go to another club like the one at Emerson Green,as they have steam in there steam room.
