Great night out with family. Efficient and friendly staff. Good food. Covid safe environment. Only downside is the lack of decent ales, plenty of choices in lagers but only 2 choices of Ales. But that aside we had a brilliant night. Kiren was on top form as ever 😄

Stayed here for a night in mid October to facilitate a visit to the local abbey. The facilities were great with an extensive and varied menu with great quality food. The hotel is a little inaccessible for those without a car; the town is a little walk away along a busy road with few pavements but to an experienced walker this does not pose too much of a challenge. What sets this hotel apart is the friendliness of the staff. It added a much welcome addition to our stay.

One of our favourite places to eat out. Happily travel the 45 min journey to eat here. Have been 3 times in the past couple of months. Always welcoming. Tables well separated. Staff are friendly and accommodating, even to the point of changing our table for a window one and allowing the o/h to move the chairs around so he could have a bucket seat 🙄. Best Nachos, amazing burgers and the puddings are just mmmm mmm mmm ♥️

Very nice quaint pub with nice restaurant setup. Room is compact and en suite is chic. Only problem is our room faces the main road so is quite noisy with passing traffic.
