Very nice hotel. Dinner was great. Staff were friendly. Only downside was breakfast. We ordered room service our breakfast was cold and missing items.Would have complained but too busy at reception with a wedding party and bus load of American tourists. Nice relaxing stay otherwise.

I forgot my favorite earrings in my room at the Dalmahoy... When I called reception, housekeeping went out of their way to make sure the earrings they found were indeed mine. Many thanks to Anna and Angela of the housekeeping team, for taking such good care of their guess belongings! It is very much appreciated!

This is a very nice hotel. The room I had was first rate. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. Since everything is more expensive than in Ohio, I am guessing the prices are not out of line. I had a very nice stay

We absolutely love this Hotel! The staff are so friendly, and helpful. Neil the front door man was very helpful in ordering our car service to get us into town. He is so charming and always made us feel welcome . Neil always took the time to answer all of our questions. Jack at the front desk answered all of our questions as well as sorting out our accommodations. He is a really nice guy and very professional. We stayed during the festive period and Lauren helped us book all our party meals and entertainment. This was our third time staying at this hotel whilst visiting Scotland. Our suite had been renovated to very high standards. It was very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the staff for a lovely holiday experience. We will definitely come back soon. Neil and Anita Price From Shropshire, England

Not worth the money. Don't get me wrong, the rooms were nice enough, clean, and comfy. However, for the price we expected a lot more. For example: No water was provided on arrival (something commonplace in much cheaper hotel rooms) but I was informed the tap water was drinkable, there was no minibar provided, room service was stopped at 11 pm without any prior warning, and in general it felt like we were not being taken care of properly for the amount we had paid for the room - after visiting the pool, I called down to reception to request more towels and they just never arrived. Outside of this the staff were fantastic, especially in the cocktail bar and restaurant. They were very attentive and happy to help with any request we had - which is surprising as it turns out the staff don’t receive any tips you add to your bill. So please remember to tip bar and restaurant staff with cash or they will not get a penny. The food was also very nice, although the menu is quite limited. Breakfast on the other hand was not as good. It is a buffet style where guests que next to other guests to await their chance to ladle watery scrambled eggs on to a plate. This is an awkward and quite unpleasant experience as guests inadvertently hover over you hungrily, watching as you eat. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they can get a room for around £80 per night. It just isn’t worth anymore than this.

Was there for dinner. Very relaxing and spacious cocktail bar. The restaurant was also nice and spacious and food was absolutely delicious, though not a wide range of choice on the main restaurant menu particularly for vegetarians. The brasserie menu has more variety but was closed when we were there
