Costa york

The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is always bustling and busy. If I had to be critical I'd say the place is a little small for the footfall it receives but that isn't normally a problem, just at the obvious really busy times it can be hard to find a table. The choice of drinks is excellent with something for everyone, the choice of food is more limited but definitely well thought out for a coffee shop. There is little more satisfying than sitting in this Costa, in the morning sunshine with a pot of fresh tea, watching the world go by outside.

Staff are unbelievably friendly. Find myself driving to this Costa and only this Costa about 4/5 times per week to complete university work. Such a lovely atmosphere and a lovely space! But of course the staff make it what it is and are so lovely.

Very good service this morning - but then I was slightly earlier than usual

Why bother with the chains when there are plenty of individual caterers ...who contribute far more to the local economy, rather than the ubiquitous Coca-Cola ...where profits are repatriated, ultimately, to Atlanta. Clearly my preference is for GOOD coffee, while also supporting the local economy.

Very covid secure, good coffee and service.

Clean shop and friendly staff. Good toasted cheese and ham sandwich and nice coffee.

Toilets were not the cleanest. Very long wait, staff seemed to be very distracted and not sure of the products on sale. Lots of choice of cakes. Milk alternative hot chocolate was delicious

Good coffee & food, very well set up under current Covid guidelines, felt safe inside.

Excellent service and really good coffee. And I love the millionaire's shortbread.
