Served by Daniel He was very sweet, engaged in friendly and humourous chat. It was his first time making a mint choc chip cooler drink and I told him it was the first time I was trying it to put him at ease. It tasted the same as all the others I've had so brilliant fast thinking skills!! Will definitely return due to amazing customer service.

Nice staff, good coffee but the card machine is broken more often than you would expect on a morning, also the service can be pretty slow depending on who you get. I was in the queue for five minutes today and the barista was serving the same person the whole time. I wouldn't have minded usually except I was the only other person in the queue at the time.

1/ 5

Costa coffee did not have any gluten free sandwich options at either station shop at the York train station. Despite a study in 2018 showing 1 in 10 of the UK population now eat gluten free, I was wrong to assume costa coffee would have a gluten free option for their sandwiches. Whilst they did have a brownie or two that was gluten free, I thought a franchise such as the would be conducting business in this modern era, but apparently not. My review will be removed when there are gluten free sandwiches available.

Good customer service but there is a total lack of reusable cups plates etc. Even those sitting in have to either supply a reusable cup (not an issue at all) or use a disposable cup. Shows a complete lack of care for the environment. It's hard to miss the fact that single use packaging is in the headlines all over the world. If you have water and power, surely you can have a dishwasher like the rest of Costa coffee shops. Either provide "normal" cups or enforce the use of reusable coffee cups from customers. It's not difficult, you do it everywhere else Costa. I'm disgusted by this complete disregard for simple envirmental protection!
