amazing collection of retro and modern games! they beat CEX by 10% or more on certain items, not to mention they pay more than CEX to. They also have a jewellery selection which is to die for! they buy scrap gold and other precious metals at best rates. They also buy and sell Swiss made watches i.e Rolex, Cartier omega and other special brands. overall great shop and great people who work would recommend to anyone visiting Leeds.

STAY AWAY !!! Those people are nasty.... they sent me a destroyed item as they thought that sending a fragile game in a plastic bag without even a layer of bubble wrap is a good idea. Also they refused to help me and the way they talked to me and their attitude was TERRIBLE. I wish i could give them 0 stars... You will regret dealing with them trust me...

Over the last few years I’ve had quite a few experiences with this store. I’d usually return for the slightly above resell market rate they offer over their competition like CEX. However, as a word of warning, it’s no the most professional place. They advertise (quite brazenly in front of CEX) that they offer 10% more. This is not something they usually honour though, and any sale can quickly turn into a haggling competition as opposed to them honouring their advertising. You’ll still come away with more than CEX would offer you, or pay less than what CEX sell for, but in exchange for that you lose out on professionalism, customer service and reliability. On multiple occasions I’ve been sold games or consoles that simply don’t work out of the box. Whilst usually only an inconvenience as you have to drive back to have it replaced, they did recently refuse to honour a replacement of an Xbox as despite their store being closed due to COVID, my 6 month warranty had expired upon them reopening. Any traditional store would honour the warranty as the customer can’t physically return the item (due to the store being literally closed), however Convert 2 Cash would not. This after phoning them within the timeframe and being told “We’ll take care of you when we reopen”. Tl;dr; If you feel like haggling; sell. You’ll get slightly more than CEX. If you feel like buying; buy elsewhere. They’re not professional, not even to long standing customers.
