Watched the first 30 minutes of 1917, before the video stopped working. Took them 10 minutes to realise/restore. Happily gave a refund, thank goodness because 5 minutes later it broke again. Wouldn’t let us go to an alternate screening of a different movie, not sure why as it would have been no less disruptive.

A splendid cinema, well up to the Picturehouse standard, with a glorious waterfront location. The lounge enjoys a good range of cask-conditioned and craft beers, an impressive range of hot meals and some naughty cakes to accompany your coffee. :-)

Went to go and see Parasite and it was not really the right movie for me hense the fact that I had to cover my eyes for half of it- too gory! However like usual the service at City screen was on point and the facilities were great. You should definitely go :)

Lots of steps and although there is a lift it is small and hidden. Cafe which is very popular. In need of an update. Free for all seating rather than specific seats. Handy to get to.

Really nice atmosphere on a Monday afternoon. Not packed, had no problem sitting in the cafe bar and the staff and manager were friendly and helpful. Art display on the walls too, usually a positive sign!

Prices were fairly standard compared to other cinemas, but the space in the cinema was below average. Shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you, its not ideal for social distancing - especially since the website will not allow you to leave a one-seat space between you and booked seats. The popcorn was okay, but very overpriced compared to other cinemas. You pay for the location.
