April 2016 Corrupt NHS unit , used by men to hurt women. Used by the police to cover up their failings . Used by the police to cover up ABUSE!!!! Doctor in charge covering up for medical failings some patients in there have medical conditions! Unlawful means are used to admit patients by force!! Disability benefit fraud! I don’t claim disability benefit and wasn’t helped there. Iwasn’t On any medication at all. My name is Helen Alexander. Lies and psychological abuse was used to admit me. COVER UP!!! CORRUPTION. I haven’t even been questioned because officials don’t want to know the truth! The police are bad news and the worst criminals ever. Cover up for cocaine addicts and drug abusers and alcoholics who are free to terrorise are streets and keep the police in jobs . I want compensation for the way me and my children have been treated . I want justice and the council prosecuted! Several members of staff there should be sacked. Also misconduct within the NHS , Dr Eccles and my sons junior school. A cover up for St Mary’s COf E . Lies to cover up abuse of children in school!!! and get higher results . This is disgraceful and the police know it goes on. The police allow drugs and corruption. I was forced by the police to allow an abusive psycho stay in my home. Then they traumatised me . The police are a big let down . There is no law and order in Liverpool . The council are corrupt and let it be known there is no such thing as a good school anymore because results are all fiddled!! Ofsted should be accountable too. Helen Alexander How can the Quality care commission rate this place as good. I have to live with a sick controlling criminal because of all you all . Me and my children have been treated badly and left confused because we thought the police and doctors and people in schools were good. Hasn’t anybody got any common sense anymore! Education removes people’s common sense. Abused women should be given a divorce automatically!! without having to go through hell and having to tip toe around because they live in fear of violence . The NHS is 100 percent responsible. Extreme medical negligence at Broad Oak!! Mental health probs are resulting COS police are not doing their jobs. We live in a world of self pity, self indulgence and crime. Bring back morals and honesty in other words Stuart Alexander is a liar and very volatile . He should be in a mental home not me.

This is a real nightmare. Not here in the hospital. People are healthy for livestock, and patients are allowed to smoke grass, knives to have, beat other patients, and staff to sit just for coffee! !!!! We need to expel this torture establishment and punish its employees as soon as possible !!!! There is a shame and shame there as such a "hospital" still works !!! Burning only such an office with all the workers in the debilance !!!! You are dogs, not doctors !!!! Through you, innocent people are suffering !!! Report this hospital to TV and add pictures and videos of how the patients live there !!!

What a completely incompetent and negligent service! My Boyfriend was supposed to be seen by someone from this service but, although referred by a doctor in a completely different area who sent across the correct contact details, all correspondence was sent to the wrong address! Not only does that breach all the confidentiality it's also negligent and incompetent- clearly no one actually checks what they send and to who! Following no correspondence from the service, the dr who originally referred explained that my boyfriend had actually been discharged for failing to turn up to an appointment that he was never informed of, without actually checking with the patient or the doctor themselves. As a result we complained and explained how they week entirely at fault when asked to check the address on the referral and the address of correspondence they were different! It's a very good job that the support network he actually has is what it is otherwise blood would most definitely have been on someone's hands. Since moving address we have discovered that a letter has been sent to the gp complaining about our complaint, clearly they do not take kindly to being told of their incompetence and shortcomings and in response have sent a letter which may hamper further treatment. It's good to know at least they realised they had messed up otherwise why bother sending the letter than to try cover their own backs. Another formal complaint is now being submitted and this time it will be followed up.

Only reason it gets a two star is due to how nice the staff are in person from my own experiences. However, the laziness, rudeness and downright ignorance of some of the staff is alarming. I have had a family member here, multiple times when I have tried to ring them, I’ve had the phone put down, been told to ring back later as they are too busy and most recently that I have to ring back as they have something else to do. The response time is also appalling with it taking 15-25 minutes to get through to a member of staff. What if it was someone’s life at risk and they take that long? When I have been there in person the staff have been lovely but over the phone service is something that 100% needs to be improved. Most of the time get the feeling that they don’t want to be on the phone, they don’t want to talk or they don’t care. If this is the only option for people to end up there the system needs a update!!!

2/ 5

Referred to Crisis Team due to severe self harm and suicidal ideation. Offered an assessment appointment 7 days after I was referred- this feels too long when you're very suicidal. Although, when the appointment happened, the Single Point of Access lady was so good- kind, patient, understanding, and the appointment was bang on time! The next day I finally saw a nurse from the CHRT. 3 days later, 11 days after I was initially referred, I saw a psychiatrist who diagnosed moderate-severe depression. I did not feel that the psychiatrist involved me in the consultation at all- he talked at me rather than discussing things with me, he told me how symptoms demonstrated the diagnosis rather than discussing how they affected me, he didn't explore my thoughts or understanding of anything. He recommended medications (choosing an antidepressant with heart-unfriendly effects in overdose, which I found a strange choice) which I declined, so then he said there were no other treatments, so 'no point' in them seeing me again. The nurses continued to see me however, and they were really kind, friendly and non-judgemental in the way they listened to me. However, each one would get frustrated with me after 3 days because I was still getting worse, at which point I'd be switched to a different nurse. NICE recommends psychotherapy as first line for depression, but the nurses explained there was no psychology in this service. They told me to go to Talk Liverpool- this was inappropriate 1) because Talk Liverpool won't see people already under hospital care and 2) Talk Liverpool do group and online therapy which is only recommended for mild-moderate depression. Everyday I would see the nurses, tell them I was hopeless and suicidal, and their response was just to mak an appointment for the next day. I had hoped they might have some tips and techniques in how to deal with the thoughts, however this was not the case. Eventually, me and the nurses agreed that there was nothing they could do to help me. I told them I had plans to end my life- they said they would phone me the next day which they did not. 3 days later they phoned to say they agreed I could be discharged. Though I am still struggling, I feel much better now I am not under the CHRT as I am not constantly being made to feel that I am beyond help. I now have psychology privately which I think is helping- I don't know what you do if you can't afford this however.
