Have been a few times to Bina and every time, they have impressed and exceeded expectations particularly with their service and knowledge on musical instruments. They also provide very good value for money and I would highly recommend them for purchasing or repairing musical instruments from the indian subcontinent.

All there tabla skins are and majority of there instruments are made cheap in Delhi with workers treated poorly and paid less than 20 rupees a hour. Tabla skins are very poor quality sounding and sustain is non existent. If you think there good then you've not heard many good ones from india. The owner has mastered the art of paying people poor wages in India and making a huge profit. Where is the humanity in this. Why would you do it? His family are spoilt and greed runs in the family and will do so in future generations.

Excellent customer service. I wanted to get my old set of Tabla's repaired as they were worn out. Bina Musicals helped me out and changed the Tabla head to a deluxe skin and also tuned them for me, all within a week. Overall really impressed with the new skins and the sound. I also brought new rings and covers, which have an excellent velvet padding that protects the skin. The Tabla's also sit well on the new rings. The shop is ideal to visit as there is a good range of Indian drums, strings, flutes and harmoniums. You can also visit the website to get more information before ordering. Limited car parking is available at the front on the high street but there is a nearby pay and display car park about 5 minutes walk away. The shop is located a short distance from Southall Train station. Highly recommended.
