Perfectly fine. Nothing special. The shower didn't work but I also arrived at 1 in the morning so I didn't expect anyone to be around to help with it. I didn't really mind.

Nice B&B in the heart of Exeter and very close to Central station. I used cosy single room 5 on the top floor. The room had everything I needed, was clean and quiet. Good and promptly served breakfast. Provided an invoice upon request. Suggestions for improvement: Add shower gel/shampoo toileteries. These will be handy for business travellers like myself that travel light. Make toast and pastries more available at breakfast.

The staff are extremely amiable and professional, always willing to have a friendly chat. They were able to cater for me even though my arrival time was well into the night. The room was very clean, luxurious and spacious. The breakfast served is of a high standard and is just what you’d expect. The Bendene is 2 minutes walk from the town centre, combining seclusion from people but also easy access to the town. I heavily recommend it.

I was made to feel very welcome by all staff I came into contact with. Lovely bright clean room, the bed was very comfortable and the accommodation was quiet throughout the night. Good choice of food for breakfast which was all freshly cooked. I had an omelette which was delicious and very large. On checking out i was going to be in Exeter for the day and was able to leave my luggage in the accommodation until I could collect it. The accommodation was very clean, all staff were friendly and very accommodating. It is very close to the town centre within easy walking distance of the cathedral and other attractions I would definately stay there again.

Would not go back. Room was dirty. Manager offer a return stay at a time that suited me but I would not be happy to stay there again. My mother-in-law's room was the complete opposite. It's seems some of the rooms have been recently renovated but this is no excuse for the other rooms to be dirty.

Very helpful and friendly reception team - late arrival made easy. Scrupulously clean throughout. Bathrooms newly tiled, shower hot, powerful and adjustable without falling to pieces. Good towels. Single room 9 overlooking street, quiet if late night pedestrians would just shut up. WiFi throughout, USB charging sockets by bed. Superb breakfast with home made jam.
