The service was completing shocking, I had to wait an hour until a customer service assistant was able to assist me . Dark times for Barclay. Highly don't recommend banking with Barclays if you live near Cowley.

I really wanted to open an account with barclays. Therefore, I have done the application online, until the website froze twice in the middle of the application (No it wasn't my computer or the internet connection) it wouldn't let me do it again. So I went Saturday to my nearest branch to see if they could do an exception for my experience, so they said they could only do an appointment in city centre bank. It is very expensive to pay for the car park but anyways I said yes. My appointment was at 13:00 and when I arrived they told me that I had to wait 15 minutes, so I already thought to myself, well isnt the appointment at 13:00, so I have waited 30 mins and just left because my car park was going to expire. I don't know why is it so hard to open an account with them. Therefore, Ive opened a new account with Lloyds instead with gave me a much better customer service.

I have been a customer for over a decade and I have always found the employees very helpful. During Covid 19 lockdown, even though the hours were reduced, they still were very helpful. I would recommend them highly
