Nice quiet spot with lots of wildlife around a serene lake. It is a great spot for sunrises and sunsets. Swans, ducks, other marine birds are in abundance. There us a paved walkway around the lake so you can stroll or walk the dog safely.

Backwell Lake is a beautiful little lake situated between Nailse and Backwell there is a lovely walk all around the lake and it's teaming with wildlife the swans are friendly but pleas take care not to upset them when the cygnets are around, I would say it's a great place to take children and teach the about wildlife, on the path there two boards showing you the ducks and birds you are likely to see also the plants you can find growing there highly recommended it's an educational walk have fun .
