The reception staff are always friendly, professional and helpful. The doctor I had my appointment with (a Greek lady) was by far one of the most warm, sincere and caring doctors I have had the pleasure of meeting. Alan the nurse is also another credit to the practice. I have also seen other doctors here and they too were exceptional. I think I am fortunate to live in an area that they service. 6 stars!!

I have nothing but trouble with this practice regarding the internet and apps. I booked an apt via the app that was cancelled without me being informed, and without an explanation. Following online app instruction to bring photo ID to the surgery for access to repeat medication requests, the reception were totally out of their depth with what to do. I have used the apps for years, for convenience, there are signs all over the place encouraging you to do this, but none of the staff are competent with it. Photo ID apparently wasn't needed, and I wasted my time, as usual. Only saving grace is that the doctors are great once you get past the receptionists!

My experience is as follows; - Worst reception staff ever. Extremely rude, and seem to think they are medically qualified. Also advised me they would not take my repeat prescription requests over the phone during the pandemic when I was shielding (due to being extremely clinically vulnerable). - E consult service is never working. When it is working, your request is unbelievably triaged by the reception staff?! (No wonder they think they are medically trained). - You can’t book an appointment in advance, yet the ‘ring at 8 am’ idea clearly does not work. Takes 100 plus calls to get through, to then be told there are no appointments and to attend A&E?! When your problem doesn’t warrant that. No wonder the A&E’s are overwhelmed! - Repeat prescriptions are always wrong. Items are missing, or the wrong doses of medication are given. Good job I noticed or I would have ended up taking a much larger dose than prescribed. - When you can’t get an appointment, the (medically trained) receptionists attempt to give you blood test results over the phone, telling you everything is fine. Later turned out that everything was far from fine. - Impossible to see the same G.P. twice. No continuity of care at all. Overall, a horrendous surgery.

This surgery has been a godsend for me. I have a number of physical and mental health problems and have always received exceptional care and support from all the medical staff I have had contact with. As for the receptionists who are the first point of contact I have nothing but high praise for them, I have found them to be warm and friendly and always help in any way they can. I know getting through on the phone and getting an appointment can at times be difficult but this is a problem with any Drs surgery not just this one. This issue has become worse due to Covid and therefore it can't and shouldn't be taken out on any of the staff, they are doing a wonderful job in difficult times. I feel very lucky to be part of this practice.

This is so sad I have to write this but this doctors surgery is failing my 7 year old son I have called 6 times in the last week trying to get an appointment for my son who is struggling day to day with something we don't understand yet, he has epilepsy and we just wanted an appointment so he can be referred to the hospital to get the help he needs his teacher is telling us that we need to see the doctors but everytime we call and mention what it is they say call back tomorrow no appointments, we start calling at 8 but don't get through till later like everybody else and eventually when we do get through we just get brushed off like it doesn't matter. I just want what's best for my son but nobody is listening. Please brush me off but please stop doing it to my son he deserves better. I havnt wrote this targeting any individual person who works there. I havnt been rude to any of the staff during this process.

THE DOCTOR =EXCELLENT THE RECEPTIONIST=VERY VERY POOR UNPROFESSIONAL. THE OTHER DAY ,RECEPTIONIST WAS ABRUPT IN HER EARLY 30'S,DID NOT GIVE ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN,MY PURPOSE AND ASSUME IT WAS TO DO WITH SOMETHING ELSE,IF SHE CAN READ MINDS AND HAS A CERTIFICATE FOR IT, THEN I WOULDNT MIND,BUT AS WE ALL KNOW THIS IS NOT THE CASE,TRY AND SHOW SOME RESPECT AND LISTEN BEFORE YOU GO INTO AUTOPILOT MODE.

Impossible to get an appointment with a doctor. Can take 80+ calls to get through in the morningonly, for them to pick up then hang up right away. I filled in an e-consult form, no one got back to me within the time scale, then someone called 3 days later to say a prescription waswaiting for me. I never got to see anyone and the stronger pain killers i was given don't help. I have been a patient since 1996. I am now very dissapointed with them.
