My experience is as follows;
- Worst reception staff ever. Extremely rude, and seem to think they are medically qualified. Also advised me they would not take my repeat prescription requests over the phone during the pandemic when I was shielding (due to being extremely clinically vulnerable).
- E consult service is never working. When it is working, your request is unbelievably triaged by the reception staff?! (No wonder they think they are medically trained).
- You can’t book an appointment in advance, yet the ‘ring at 8 am’ idea clearly does not work. Takes 100 plus calls to get through, to then be told there are no appointments and to attend A&E?! When your problem doesn’t warrant that. No wonder the A&E’s are overwhelmed!
- Repeat prescriptions are always wrong. Items are missing, or the wrong doses of medication are given. Good job I noticed or I would have ended up taking a much larger dose than prescribed.
- When you can’t get an appointment, the (medically trained) receptionists attempt to give you blood test results over the phone, telling you everything is fine. Later turned out that everything was far from fine.
- Impossible to see the same G.P. twice. No continuity of care at all.
Overall, a horrendous surgery.
