As a tenant, I had a fantastic experience. The team are friendly and keen to help. I have rented a lot of properties, but no agents were nearly as good as BW. I think they're great.

Barlow White handled the letting of my property and the subsequent sale of it. In all that time, I had absolutely no problems with them, finding them efficient and professional. A special mention should be given to Natalie Marshall, who was a pleasure to deal with, and dealt with the sale with the utmost professionalism.

I've been with Barlow White now since Jan/Feb 2018 and never had a problem. The guy who comes around for the inspections is a really nice guy, always have a good natter because my place is always spotless! Being a tenant you know the circumstances upon signing as its all laid out to you clearly so there's no excuses to not keep your end of the deal as the occupant. All my Gas Safety inspections are on time and not once have I ever had a maintenance problem. They have recently introduced a system which a lot of agents have, so its even easier to report maintenence issues if any should arise. Kevin sorted my tenancy out and it's was stress free! All the girls in the office were friendly too! :)

Barlow White remove the stress of being a landlord, dealing with all the issues that can and do arise with a rented property. A shout out to Jess and Kelly who have been very professional and helped a lot over the last couple of months, keeping me up to date with what's been happening at the flat I rent out. The utmost thanks to Natalie Marshall of the Monton branch of Thornley Groves. It has been the most frustrating 12 months of my life what with all the problems my solicitor caused. Without question, if Natalie hadn't been involved, this would have fallen over long ago. There were at least 4 or 5 occasions when I thought it must be dead in the water, and I'm sure from the sellers side he would have wanted to pull the plug many times more without her guidance and reassurance. I've previously worked in estate agency myself for many years and the work that goes in to holding a sale together behind the scenes often goes unnoticed and undervalued, so I can certainly testify to the exemplary efforts put in by Natalie over the last year. I have used Barlow White to handle the rental of a property for some years. They have always been pro-active, never give me problems, always solutions and deal with every single aspect of letting from repair to, especially, dealing with bills due when there is a void, including Council Tax. It's utterly unbelievable to me that you're forcing a rent increase onto Sam and Joe given their current shielding situation amidst a global pandemic. Especially seeing as the tenants presented you with a free solution to the awful insulation in the property that you dismissed; which would have added more value to your own asset, yet you chose to leave them out of pocket and incredibly uncomfortable!

Excellent service. Reported leaking boiler and within an hour the Gas Engineer had attended and replaced a faulty part. During this time Barlow Whites office phoned me 3 times to keep me updated on progress. Can't really ask for better service than that.
