We rented a house through Joules following a re-location and I’ve never delt with such a shambolic set up. First of all they asked for more rent than the property was advertised for (Due to some made up story someone had offered more) and then let the house out in appalling condition - despite promising it would be pristine. We have listed over 20 faults with the property that should have been addressed before we moved in, including faulty central heating and the fact half the lights had blown. A “feature” of a fireplace turned out to be a dirty piece of paint splattered cardboard. It was also filthy, despite the landlord claiming the property had been cleaned. They were also happy to leave us without central heating working with a 5 week old baby. Repairs are non existent and require constant chasing for anything to happen. I am sick to death of chasing them... the problem is they are behest to slumlords who they make their money from and don’t want to upset the apple cart. Would have expected more integrity from a business like this rather than trying to keep landlords happy by not escalating faults and letting tenants suffer -‘especially when charging more rent than was advertised. Will not be buying our next property through them and have already talked people out of doing the same.

Unbelievably incompetent. Communication non-existent, incapable of arranging anything. Two weeks after a break in and still not replaced kicked in door. Seeking legal advice. Stay away, wish we had.
