The Butterleigh Inn

We went for a Sunday carvery, a slight waiting time due to the Covid-19 restrictions that are in place, but the food was worth it. A great selection of vegetables and the beef was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend booking in advance as the tables were all booked.

Food is wonderful, staff are great...watch out for the dog...he makes you want to stay longer to fuss him. Well worth the short journey from our hotel.

Not a single doubt , a full 5 stars from me. Everything is right about this place, even the parking spaces are plentiful and evenly distributed. Great job Barry or whatever your name is. Plenty of food waste in the bins for me to choose from , sometimes even slightly warm. The rooms look nice from outside looking in , I’ve not actually stayed here other than sleeping in the outbuildings.

Allowing dogs in, is a plus, as being a dog owners, not many places are dog friendly xx

Quirky but nice, good food

Party of 4 adults plus 3 dogs made very welcome here even though we were visiting the area. Good value food and lots of it. Well cooked, tasty, and filling. Couldn't have hoped for better. Definitely on our return list.

People were marvelous and so helpful. Food was excellent. It is very quite and the wifi is not the best. If you want tranquility this is were you find it. Just 30 minutes away you can get to some super beaches. Also very dog friendly and excepted my little miss

Second stay this for 3 days and it was amazing. They are so welcoming and friendly. When we had an evening picnic of our own they brought out plates cutlery glasses even lights for us although it was there night off. If your looking for a home from home with your four legged friend this is the place. Thanks again for making our break so relaxing.

We come here for the Sunday carvery often.Consistantly good food. The staff are friendly and the pub is everything you could want from an English country pub.
