Beautiful old pub with good vibrations food menu and a wide and varied wine list. Was fully booked when we came in but told to try back at 8.30 and they find us a table which was perfect. Friendly staff and good dinner. Highly recommended

It's ok, brill food and drink, bit didnt eat much here so cant comment. The rooms into the courtyard face into mr and mrs, friends and family, I witnessed a bloke getting dressed! So, stay away from the courtyard, if u anticipate afternoon kips!

The food was really good. I had a delicious Italian salad (which is too small if you're really hungry), my wife enjoyed the harrissa and lime chicken which comes with a big portion of couscous. Both dishes came for 12£ each.

Excellent. Really excellent pub/hotel in very pretty town. Courtyard rooms are first class and good value. The food, though limited in range, was excellent. Four of us had two meals and everything was delicious . Wine list is very good indeed as is an enormous array of gins. Local beer is superb. The service was friendly, polite, willing but comically chaotic, almost Fawlty Towers esque but we were on holiday and had time to kill and it certainly didn’t mar our stay so still five stars from me.

Gorgeous pub and hotel. Myself and my partner stayed for one night as a birthday treat. Ate dinner which was to die for (fillet steak) and the amaaaazing chocolate brownie was one of the best I have eaten at a restaurant. Pricing was great too!

Service was very poor - arrived early on after a long drive and we were greeted with a grunted reply by staff saying we were early and could not park in their car park. No mention of anything like "oh you are a bit early but please come in from the rain, take a seat in the bar whilst we get your room ready etc." The food is also quite average and nothing to rave about. Another downside was that our room was cold with no warmth in temperature nor decoration. To be precise the bedroom heated up after a while but the bathroom had no heating so was permanently ice cold. The location is fantastic but this pub inn is quite average and staff need proper hospitality training.
