Lovely, traditional pub with quality selection of beers and spirits. Quite a varied menu including including traditional, fast food, vegetarian and vegan options. There is a large and verdant beer garden at the rear. One of the best in Oxford. The bar staff are lovely. I am only removing a star because their prices are a little high.

We booked for Sunday lunch as we wanted a roast, which is what they serve on Sundays. Very cosy with a fire going, our group had roast beef, chicken and pork. All were excellent and just what we wanted. A good selection of desserts. Staff are friendly and welcoming to the one year old who ate his own lunch.

Absolutely delightful evening. In town for a craft market and looking for a decent pint and some filling food. This is much more. A "short" menu in my view is always a good sign of food prepared and delivered well. This was exactly that. Pork belly with potatoes and seasonal veg sounds simple - This was much more. My wife had lasagne - she is an expert on this and indicated it was one of the best she had. The service was lovely; warm, inviting and informed. Well done Marsh Harrier - you have an excellent set of people working there and it really shows.

First time here but may become a regular ! Good service, which is always a pleasure , food was OK. We had 3 different meals so covered a range , with the overall view that given the price it should be better. Will try again tonight !
