Nice hotel shame about the weather. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room we stayed in was a little tired but I understand the hotel is due to be renovated soon. Location is good, it's apparently a nice walk down the Thames into Oxford town centre but due to storm Dennis we didn't explore this option and instead got a taxi which cost around £8, the hotel was easy to find from the ring road The breakfast was good with a wide range of options, we didn't have an evening meal though so can't comment on the restaurant food. Bar prices were about average for a hotel in my experience. All in all I would stay here again and could be made a into a lovely hotel when it's renovated.

Clean, ok breakfast. Staff serving in breakfast were great. Excellent manager. Was less impressed with young man at reception who told us there was no upgrade available even if we paid for us to discover next morning that there was. Had a blocked sink that they seemed incapable of dealing with so we used the bathroom of room next door. Overall unpretentious, is what it is and as long as you go with reasonable expectations its fine.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Very neat areas from the reception, restaurants, and rooms. Regarding the latter, we are a family of 4 people and we found it very spacious. Very clean and friendly. I highly recommend it. Chavy at the reception stands out with his kindness, his friendliness and his kindness with the children. If you are visiting Oxford do not hesitate to stay at this amazing hotel.

Honestly the loveliest place to stay nice and close to town with plenty of parking. Took my wife to stay here for her birthday and couldn't fault a thing! Extremely clean, very lovely staff with a warm welcome soon as we got there, food was fantastic as we had dinner here too. Couldn't fault the room in the lovely Elm House at the top of the grounds, room was clean spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Our Pit Stop group recently enjoyed Sunday lunch. We were hosted in the Cherwell Suite where our table was very tastefully laid out. The food provided was of good quality and the service we received was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they looked after us all very well, making our get together very pleasurable. 😀
