The Chequers Inn oxford

A lovely warm comfortable place,lovely family run establishment. The owners were very welcoming. The food was amazing cooked dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone.

Don't normally review pubs but I've eaten here this eve and had a very warm welcome from the owners and had a fabulous meal, nice portions, informed they only use local freshly sourced produce. You can tell. Couldn't fault. Highly recommend, will return

My Aunty had her 70th birthday party here and I cannot fault it at all. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb they went above and beyond to make the day special for everyone. Thank you all so much we will definitely be coming to see you again.

Excellent food. Friendly owners. Our new favourite stop on way up to London. Also dog friendly.

Try the Indian menu! Lamb curry not too hot but so full of flavour.

What a fabulous find! Family run, in a quiet village. The accommodation is modest, and immaculate 🤩 And be sure to have the delicious home made curries

The pub looks very underwhelming from the outside and we ate here with no expectations but were very pleasantly surprised. All of our meals were delicious and the curries were authentic, served with complimentary pakoras. We would highly recommend.

Gorgeous pub in Cassington. We had family friends staying in the B&B and met them for a meal in the evening - there is a great selection of pub classics and Indian specials. The food is really fresh and tasty... so much so, that we had to return for breakfast the following morning. The owners are super attentive - and as a bonus they also serve Espresso Martini's on tap (my personal drink of choice). I would highly recommend this place for a weekend away in Oxforshire.
