I have bought four top brand watches from this branch over the last 10 years. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about the team and their operation. When I've visited the branch the customer service has been exceptional and so has the communication over phone and email on anything else. A big thank you in particular for David Finlay and John Dahl who have been looking after me so well this year. Thanks Guys!

Looks nice and shiny on the outside nice address location however all that glitters is not gold We asked for a replacement silver catch be replaced with another however within weeks started to tarnish quite clearly inferior quality replacement We returned this and was eventually given a quality replacement at no charge However my question is simple why is a top end jeweller using poor quality materials in the first place ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD

I used to work in this ESTABLISHMENT a while ago. A regular customer, an owner of a strip bar in the area and a fan of Mikimoto asked me if I was Polish and offered me a job without hearing my answer. I politely declined. When I complained to my manager she dismissed it as a Scottish banter. Hm...

Five star sales service by Laings. Joe Coppola’s brand knowledge was excellent and it wasn’t on his specialist watch make. Nothing too much trouble. My thanks also goes to Kate from the Service Department for her instruction and tips on switching from a metal bracelet to a NATO strap. Complimentary coffee was superb by the way.

If it's Friday, near pay day you'll get pounced on. Can't say I've ever found a commission based sales environment great for exemplary customer service... oh, then ask for a lowly replacement watch strap and you'll be treated with indifference.

Can’t recommend James enough for looking after me when purchasing my luxury watch. His communication and attentiveness was top notch. James’ knowledge in his field is vast and he can answer all your questions and queries. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and the experience throughout. Also when picking my watch up the general manager took the time to come and thank me for choosing Laings. I won’t hesitate to recommend James to my friends and family and I’ll definitely be back to buy my wife her very own watch also! 10 out of 10 for service! Thanks again to all the team!

After a mishap with another retailer with regards to my original engagement ring, my fiance and I came into Laing's on Christmas Eve looking for a replacement. Joe worked his magic and made a Christmas miracle happen. We went into the store with pretty specific specifications and were able to find something that was even better than the original! Great service class chat, and we will be back soon to get our wedding bands!

I cannot recommend Laing's adequately in just a few words! The professionalism of James Crawford from start to finish, was first class, he guided us through sourcing the product and honestly advised on time scales. With excellent comms he kept us updated and realistically appraised on the difficulty of our search. Finally he sourced our item and his genuine delight at assisting us was so evident. We collected our item from his colleague, Conor as James was unfortunately out on business. Conor also demonstrated a high level of customer service and product knowledge. I am a very happy customer, and look forward to returning to the Edinburgh store for many years to come. James is indeed an asset to your company.

Laings Edinburgh have been amazing from start to finish! We wanted to get my Dad something special for his 60th Birthday. The watch we wanted was difficult to source and with the day approaching we thought we'd have to settle for something else. But James and Connor managed to get it in time and make it a day we'll never forget. The staff at Edinburgh were all wonderful in accommodating us at our appointment. My Dad had no idea about the watch it was a total surprise, it had him in tears! Thank you so much for not only getting the watch but being so helpful and professional along the way. My whole family although in different parts of the country will all be coming back to Laings Edinburgh.

We are on holiday in Edinburgh staying at The Balmoral. My Pearlmaster bracelet has broken. Took it into Laings for repair. One piece of the 3 went missing and the assistant said it was never on tray. I knew it was. She quickly found it on the floor?????. Felt the service was much below the standard than on previous visits. Customer service zero. Assistant needs a course on customer service.
