It was unseasonably warm for our stay and it seems all the A/C units in every room were bad. The staff got us a portable unit that required the window to be open the entire time but we could live with that. The lobby staff told us they made a reservation for dinner but when we went to the restaurant that was not the case. The manger found us a table though. Then we waited almost 20 minutes until someone noticed us and asked if we needed drinks...The food was just OK. The whisky expert was awesome, but again another long wait for a drink. I need to use a breathing machine but there are no standard outlets near the bed. I asked about that was told they would try to find me an extension cord. Of course there were none available....I ended up jury rigging something on my own. All in all it was not worth staying there.

We had a lovely small suite which was clean and quiet. Beautiful view and walking distance of old town and all it offers. The staff was courteous and room services were speedy. Edinburgh was fantastic!

Food is great. Staff is super nice and friendly. Room's clean and tidy. Location is excellent if you're going to Edinburgh Airport. There's a 24/7 bus to the airport in less than 5 mins walking distance from the hotel for every 10-15 mins.

If you are flying out from Edinburgh Airport this is an ideal place to stay. Used the stay and park option at a reasonable cost. Easy to get to and from hotel to the airport using the airlink bus, it stops right outside hotel No 100. Cost of ticket £2.50 each way. Will use again if I fly from Edinburgh in the future.

Located on Glasgow road, a bit away from centre of the city. But it is very well connected with city buses and trams. Hotel rooms are good and well maintained. Breakfast buffet spread is decent. Swimming pool and gym are well maintained and equipped. Parking is adequate

Stayed at the Marriott recently and due to the weather I decided to eat within the restaurant. When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted by the waitress Katie. She escorted me to my table and very quickly and with the greatest of care took my order. The food arrived very quickly, I had the Cast Iron Burger and it was absolutely splendid. I wanted to go behind into the kitchen and Hug the chef for the amazing job he did I didn’t however, I didn’t want to make a scene and ruin the amazing atmosphere in the restaurant. Once I finished my meal the waitress from early was very quick to offer me any desserts or coffee I settled for a pint of Stuarts Larger as I’d never tried it before. It was hastily delivered by the another waitress Alice who very polite. Finally I decided to end my fantastic night at the bar. Yes the drinks where delicious and varied but the best part was the bartender Andreas he was very witty and funny. Overall experience was amazing and the staff I met that being Katie, Alice, Lucy and Andreas where all really friendly charismatic and helpful.

Stayed here for just 2 days and it was great. Loved how it’s so close to the airport. After a long flight it was nice to just come straight over here with no hassle. The airlink dropped me off right across the street. The staff was so accommodating. I completely forgot to bring a converter for my phone charger and they had one for me to borrow.

By Far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, Staff are extremely rude. Room was advertised with AC, when I complained it didn’t work they simply said “ we are stripping all the AC out” We then asked for more toilet role for our three night stay as we were supplied with one roll, when we asked the staff they responded “there should be enough in your room so why do you need more?” Room had a fridge which was also broken. Reading lights above the bed were broken and gaffs tape was stuck over them. Bedroom walls are so thin you can hear neighbours flicking light switches on and having a conversation. All the soft close hinges on the doors are broken so be prepared for endless door slamming when your trying to sleep. Restaurant was overpriced and service was painfully slow, not to mention it was Absolutely freezing inside. When the bill came they had the cheek to include a 12.5% service charge! Which we kindly requested to be knocked off. Swimming pool was broken and out of use when we wanted to use it. All in all I’m extremely disappointed in my 3 night stay at the Marriott, as you would expect so much more from a premium brand. My disappointment mainly is the staff because they have no manners when you speak to them, they are short, blunt and roll their eyes with every request. Hotel feels like it need a fortune spending on it to bring it up to standards. Will not be returning.

Stayed for long weekend, we chose this hotel as it had a swimming pool and car park. Lovely staff, whenever we asked for anything, it was done straight away. Swimming and jacuzzi was nice and the kids loved it. Room was nice and clean. It’s not the most modern looking hotel from the outside, but that didn’t ruin our stay! Thank you Edinburgh Marriott.
