Great family run post office and shop, great choice and very helpful staff

The attitude of the staff at this post office counter is appalling. I am a local business owner and have a business postage drop off account with Royal Mail. 2 days ago I dropped my 2 small mail bags off quite happily but today was a different matter. The man behind the counter was rude and aggressive when I asked him why he was refusing to take my mail, he told me they had too many already and did not have room. The place is massive and Royal Mail collect regularly throughout the day. I challenged him and he told me had was refusing to take it and to go somewhere else. He then told me to ‘go ahead and report us, it’s Bramstan Post Office, go ahead.’ I told him his customer service was dreadful and his attitude stunk and he just sneered at me threateningly. Clearly he thinks it’s acceptable to have ‘issue’ with women who have an opinion about the service. I have reported him to Post Office Counters and will never set foot back inside. I advice anyone to travel a little further and don’t bother with this substandard service, there are far better post offices close by.

Disappointing local post office should not show the post office sign if cannot carry out simple tasks.

Very poor attitudes on the PO counter. This was not the case when this was in a separate area to the rest of the shop. Since the shop owner took it over the servuce is really bad. This place constantly short changes the customer too. So always check your change while you are stood at the counter. Very untrustworthy people! I hope more people report this so that something gets done as they will be taking advantage of the vulnerable.
