Really friendly staff that goes the extra mile for their customers, which is nice to see, the store is very clean and modern, with great offers on most products and a lot of services on offer. Services include, paypoint, lottery, newspapers and magazines, fresh sandwiches, stationary, greetings cards, ice cream, alcohol, frozen foods, pet foods, cleaning products, good selection of energy drinks, wines, beers and lager and a post office inside the shop. They have free parking outside the shop.

Sly shop owner who overcharges. I have experienced this on more than one occasion. I once bought a pack of beers but 1 of them was damaged. The owner scanned the beers at full price and then gave me a £1 coin back for the damaged can. I paid by debit card. Having suspected dishonesty in the past, I asked for the itemised receipt (which, incidentally, was not offered to me) and when I got home I saw that he had put the £1 he 'gave' me back onto the total by charging me £1.70 for a 70p bag of crisps!! As a result of this, I have never shopped there since and I now take my custom elsewhere. Check your change carefully if you shop here.

This shop wouldn't look out of place on Shameless the TV show.. Every aisle in the store is full of boxes and stock is left on the floor. It's very difficult to manover a pram around the store. The post office service really depends on which member of staff serves you. The older female is pretty efficient but good luck with anyone else. I will never bother with this post office again, parcels on the floor, next to cans of beer also on the floor. It's grimy and a thoroughly unpleasant experience.
